This new oil painting is made with telluric elements and was inspired in Porto Santo Island. She is from the Nocturne collection.
Currently, I’m working on a commission, and I can’t wait to share more about it with you soon.

Welcome dear follower to my New Workshop !
In this workshop, you will learn ancient techniques to produce your own paints with the colors of the Land.
It is open to all artists and art enthusiasts.
The class will be taught in English.
In this interactive class, through the Zoom platform, I will share from my studio how I process my natural pigments, in live, step-by-step demonstrations. We will cover various painting techniques, especially Watercolor.
In the final part, there will be a Q&A to answer all your questions.

It all begins with a thought, a desire, which flows and leads us to create.
A painting involves many entities in its process, until its final materialization. From the producer to the seller of the materials, and especially to the Creator of our raw material.
First comes the color, which nature brilliantly created and continues to create, the most beautiful colors from the Universe. Then they are prepared and ground to fine pigments that are then mixed with a binder (fixative). In oil painting, walnut oil can be used; in acrylic paint, acrylic emulsion; in tempera painting, egg yolk, and in watercolor, gum arabic. And so the paint is applied on a support, which can be a canvas, a wooden panel, paper or another less conventional element.
How many wonderful hands are needed to make all this possible?
O início de uma pintura
Tudo começa por um pensamento, que flui e nos leva a criar.
Uma pintura envolve muitas entidades no seu processo, até à sua materialização final. Desde o produtor, ao vendedor dos materiais, e principalmente ao Criador da nossa matéria prima.
Primeiro surge a cor, que a natureza de forma brilhante criou e continua a criar, as cores mais belas do Universo. Depois estas são preparadas e moídas até finos pigmentos que depois são misturados com um aglutinante ( fixador ). Na pintura a óleo, pode ser usado o óleo de noz; na pintura a acrílico, a emulsão acrílica; na pintura a têmpera, a gema do ovo, e na aguarela a goma arábica. E assim a tinta é aplicada num suporte, que pode ser uma tela, um painel de madeira, papel ou outro elemento menos convencional.
Quantas mãos maravilhosas são necessárias para que tudo isto seja possível ?
